We had a wonderful week end out and about in the parks we love most.
The weather had started off quite gloomy, but the sun and blue skies followed.
The parks were filled with lovely signs of Spring...
Colour and beauty all a round.
Sweet pea had fun on the roundabouts, swings, climbing frames and slides.
She loves looking at nature too...
The Odds & Buds florist in Tavistock...so eye catching and pretty.
Freedom fields park looked beautiful too. Lots and lots of daffs in bloom.
My little charity shop hand painted plate...
My ceramic fairy fell off the shelf and her wooden wings came off...They're so delicate and pretty just like real butterfly wings...The little wooden train I bought at a boot sale.
I also bought this lovely, colourful Squirrel mug.
And some wonderful vintage fabric...
Love the Spring colours on the fabric.
Sweet pea seemed fine over the weekend but on Sunday evening started suffering with ear ache.
So she has been home with me today...
Its been nice though we've been snuggled up reading books.
And as i type she's fallen fast a sleep...bless her x

What lovely pictures ... they make you feel like Spring is finally here at last.
ReplyDeleteHope your Sweetpea soon feels better.

i am loving sweetpeas coat, the plate and the mug :)
ReplyDeleteOh poor SweetPea, perhaps she should have had some ear muffs on when out in the park? I think she may well be a Botanist!
ReplyDeleteAre you able to mend your fairy's wings? Try some blue tack on her bum or feet to stop her leaping off of your shelves!
We had wonderfully and warm sunny day here yesterday, ate breakfast and lunch outside, did some pottering around in the garden, even saw some bummbees and (I think ) wasps! Lots of midges too!
Hope SweetPea is better soon, and you both have a lovely week,
Hugs,
Sandie xx

ReplyDeleteYou've such an eye for amazing vintagey finds, love all your new bits and pieces,x
ReplyDeleteThe colors in that first Pansy are just devine, I love pansy's, they didn't do well here this summer, one thing about the UK, the flowers seems to appreciate the lower temps. Sweet Pea is well named, such a gorgeous girl, and I love her wellies and coat too.
