nesting...

Despite the windy, drizzly wet weather I put my summer dress on!...
I was soaked through to the inside of my coat...but I looked colourful and bright!.
My week has been a busy sort of one...so much going on at the moment. I also help with the P.T.A.
Not only that I have been busy illustrating designs and being generally busy being mum and food shops and house work...Sweet pea's looking so much better and has been enjoying being back at school, despite her chesty cough and very snotty nose.   I started to think about Easter today and getting out some of the decorations...Some of these eggy's were in Sweet pea's bridesmaid basket from my cousins wedding last Spring...They are all mainly pastel colours and sooo beautiful.

Just looking at them cheers me up.

A nice hot cuppa and a sort through all the Easter decorations...

This such a sweet vintage post card I saw on google images...
The Rabbit carrying the chicks!!- so cute. I'm going to print some out onto card to make a garland for my dresser.

I found this lovely print, mounted and framed of Primrose's.
The charity shops are getting very busy these days...its almost one in one out it was that busy!.
All age groups too...These charities must be doing a roaring trade as the price's are quite high for seconds goods.

I also bought these lovely Strawberry style egg cosy's...from TKmaxx.

The Sun came out...and well, when the sun comes out the light fills the kitchen and is perfect for photography!...so here are some more pic's before the light faded again!...

  2. You've inspired me to take action and get decorating for Easter. It's not that far off after all. i think I'll go and hunt around for a few twigs to hang eggs on.

The wether here in Somerset is nasty too. Hope it cheers up for Easter as we are going to the Devon seaside for a break.

  3. Thank you for reminding me that spring is just around the corner! We finally have snow after a very brown, warm winter so I'm not feeling too springish yet! But now I'm inspired!

Glad Sweetpea is feeling better & back to school.

  4. Kazzy, I love those little hens....and your strawberry cozies are adorable!! your Easter eggs are so cute......Now how do you feel about the P.T.A. I was on the board last year and was not a fan ...nice ladies but fund raising was not my thing and having to always call for volunteers made me feel like a tella marketer......you are such a great Mom!! I bet you looked smashing in your dress!!

I know what you mean about the sun coming out and taking photo's, it's no fun in the grey gloom. Our charity shops are also doing a roaring trade these days, I guess that's the recession for you, I like that our money is going to good causes though xox Enjoy the rest of your week x Penelope
