My family booked a holiday cottage for a week in Kingsands, Cornwall.
And I have just returned home from a blissful week there with Sweet pea...It was such a beautiful old stone fisherman's cottage full of charm and stunning sea views...It is my favourite place to visit and I often get the local ferry boat there. Cawsands village leads to Kingsands up a hilly rock of stone cottages that overlook the sea. It was lovely to have the family together and enjoy a night at the Rising Sun pub with a shanty choir.
In the evenings when Sweet pea and Rosie were tucked up in bed myself and Twinny would sit outside with a glass of bubbly and relax under the moonlight and the sound of the sea. Most mornings were spent taking excited little'ns to the beach ~ They would run a head with squeeels of joy and beaming smiles...
I enjoyed dressing the wooden blue table outside with things found inside the cottage...
pebbled beaches...
Jumping in the brisky Cornish sea...
lots of wonderful stone cottages...
The blue of the sea...
Chasing waves, rock pooling, beach combing and gazing out the blissful sea view.
pebbles...
The evening tide...
The view of Cawsands bay...
Say 'CHEEEEEEEESE'....
Evenings outside under the moonlit sky...writing post cards and chatting.
Roses in the court yard.
Evening walks...
The blissful shoreline.
Kingsands...
Sun on the Sea.
Flowers from the Sea garden...
The dresser inside the cottage and blue beams.
I always feel a bit sad after a holiday...We had such a wonderful time- It was lovely to all be together.
Lots of sandy pants to wash...
Happy hol's,
x Kazzy x
