After another soggy School run I hopped onto the ferry boat and went for a jolly good walk in the woods.
I have missed my walks. Its my only way to clear the strains and worries on my frazzled brain sometimes...
I used to find walking in remote area's a bit daunting and its always good to have company. But the more you do things alone the easier it gets...And actually I do love that feeling of being by myself to think and explore and only hear the sounds of tree's swaying in the breeze , bird songs, snapping twigs and foliage beneath my feet and the sea crashing over the pebbled shore. Such a peaceful, perfect sound. Suddenly, all those worries and strains are long forgotten and you just see nature before your eyes.

Its always nice to go at your own speed, I am one to look at everything...and one of the school Mummy's came for a walk with me and she almost jogged the entire walk. I felt like we were on a time limit and I was out of breath trying to keep up with conversation at such speed. My fast walking is the walk to the ferry its about 35 minutes from my house, So I power walk through the city...quite happy to walk fast through the built up housing and main road sounds...but when I'm in the country Its nice to take my time over it.
The best bit in the woods is this picture...Its where the path opens up and I love to gaze across for a few moments in time. Its the perfect view in my eyes.
All the foxgloves in the clearing of the woods.
The old ferry boat station. I love this clock.
The wild flowers are actually from a little nature plot of land in the middle of the city- They have grown lots of wild flowers there this July and it looks so beautiful- all the colours!.
After another soggy School run , we are now in snuggly dressing gowns and drinking Pink milk.
Yum!!!!.
