✨🧚‍♂️🌟 wildflower ✨πŸ¦”πŸ§š‍♂️

My most favourite flowers of all are Wildflowers...And April brings them with abundance....it's the best medicine to the soul...it cheers my mind, body and spirit. Lifts my walks, my daily routines and cheers my table tops. Joy of joys are the wildflowers!

✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’š Wonderful woodland filled with wild garlic. ✨πŸŒŸπŸ’œπŸ’™ Beautiful bluebells and primroses too.✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’›
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’›πŸ¦”Life is definitely much sweeter among the wildflowers inspired my paintings too...πŸŽ¨πŸ–Œ️πŸ’›πŸ¦”πŸ§š‍♂️🌟✨
✨✨✨πŸŒŸπŸ’›πŸŒŸ✨✨✨

✨πŸ’™πŸŒŸπŸ’œπŸ§š‍♂️πŸ’š✨And more Sun beams too...tonic for the soul. Though it's still feels a little chilly...I've still got my woolly jumpers on and woolly socks... delicious warming pastries help my spirits too🌟 and a Mr foxy for company ❤️ 🦊
✨πŸŒŸπŸ’šπŸ§š‍♂️✨🌟 We've still had a few little April showers but that's to be expected.
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’šDots teas little display loved the wellies filled with daffodils, I used to do this with Sophs old wellies but a lot of them have perished now . I actually got this idea from the Eden project many moons ago when she was a toddler. Aww memories πŸ₯°
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’šWe enjoyed a beautiful Sunny day at Buckland Abbey NT. We took picnics and sat in the kitchen gardens...it was busy with children doing the dragon egg hunt.
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’šI'm so thankful for our National trust membership the gardens give me so much pleasure and Inspire my paintings. The tulips looked incredible all those yolky colours....I love to walk the fields and woodland on the estate. The Apple blossom has just started to appear in all its glory too.
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’š We've had a lot going on at home with cottage maintenance mainly, life's felt a bit over whelming at times, I'm not good with workers coming and going and the mess they decide to leave and make!. I nearly screamed when I came home to find mud worn through the lounge carpets!😑😠
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’šSooo, at any opportunity I've been going for a walk to get away and forget it. Otherwise I'll explode 🀭🀣 thank heavens for walking...πŸ’š
✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ’šThose lush green fields 😍
✨πŸŒŸπŸ’™✨We had a trip to Plymouth and the Box museum....so glad we did as there was a wonderful exhibition on, mainly highlighting about plastics in the sea.but also these amazing Swimming hats...Loved the birds nest, pot of flowers and the stargazy pie...just wonderful πŸ’™✨🌟😊
✨πŸŒŸπŸ’šπŸ§š‍♂️I do love visiting the cities in Devon and Cornwall but the older I get the more I crave the solitude of the countryside.Busy shoppers, manic ques it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I am so frugal these days too I hardly ever buy clothes, only once or twice a year! Even my joy of charity shops is fading as I find they're so over priced...I've been on a mission to get myself a lot less cluttered. So I've been giving more to the charity shops than buying. I do prefer the smaller towns... Totnes especially it's always a joy there. πŸ’š
✨πŸŒŸπŸ’šπŸ’™πŸ’œAvon Mill was especially lovely with the bluebells by the river
✨πŸ¦”πŸŒŸπŸ’š Hedgehogs seem a theme in my paintings lately...I also did a foxy amongst the bluebells..

✨🌟🧚‍♂️πŸ¦”πŸŒŸ✨πŸ’šπŸŒŸ✨I hope you are all enjoying those beautiful late Spring to Summer days ...the countryside really does come into its own...the glory of it all...that's my church among the wildflowers 🌟✨πŸ’šπŸ§š‍♂️πŸ’›πŸŒŸ✨The peaceful tranquility πŸŒ±πŸŒ·πŸŒ±πŸŒΌπŸŒ±πŸŒΌπŸŒ±πŸŒΈπŸŒ±πŸŒ·πŸŒ±πŸŒ·πŸŒΈπŸŒ±πŸŒΌπŸŒ±πŸŒΌπŸŒ·πŸ’›   x  K a z z y  x

🌱🐣🌱Easter, 🐰

🌱🐣🌱🐣🌱🐣🌱🐣🌱

Happy Easter,

After what seemed relentless rain showers & even snow showers here in a Devon it's been lovely to see the sun beams again!

And now it's the 1st April... 🌱🌞🌱

Welcoming a new Month... I'm feeling a lot more like my old self again, I feel a new month wipes the old slate clean to start refreshed and new ideas, inspirations and the start of new buds and new life in the landscape and towards warmer days.

Easter has been lovely, fairly relaxed as a family , we've had two outings. One a trip to Totnes for a few hours and then Saltram NT, picnic by the woodland... A few little jobs a round the home, sorting my little studio space and a bit of a Spring clean. It's been good to see my daughter & partner relaxing after their busy working weeks, both worn out and needing a lay in today.  I like those quiet moments walking around the garden in my dressing gown and warm tea in hand. Still a little nippy out there but the bird song is beautiful. My garden looks quite neglected. I must spend more time in it these next weeks sorting and clearing.  I enjoyed decorating my Easter Spring blossom branches for Easter, my daughter still enjoys it too.

🌱🌞🌱I hope the sun beams have been shining for you 🌿☀️πŸŒΏπŸ£πŸ’(the Easter chocolate rabbit i drew during lock down)
