These are the wonderful things that make up Summer time for me...
Wondering along the River bank & across the stepping stones watching the swifts and swallows swoop, paddling in the Cornish blue sea & picnics on the beach, crabbing along the jetty near Kingsbridge, watching a family of rabbits in the farmer's meadow, watching the boats sail passed in Dartmouth, walking the coastal path at Slapton Sands, visiting a lovely farm shop for Strawberries and freshly made pasties... Laying on the sandy bank amongst the wild flowers cloud gazing...Listening to my daughter Laughing with her friends.

Finding a loose feather, a pebble with a hole in it and pieces of blue pottery in my pocket a few days later...

A beautiful Film was watched one lovely cosy evening, Based on the true story of Maud Lewis (One of the Folk Artists in America) , 'Maudie', Such a beautiful , heart lifting and a real teary tale of a lady with many obstacles and hardship including a disability, But her strength, love, creativity and beautiful way she paints her simple little world outside her window shines through~ Its one of the Best films i've seen in a long time~ A true heart warming tale... Also another film the actress Sally Hawkins was in was the film 'Shape of Water' another fantastic film!
