On a brighter note... πŸ’›

... Hello out there in Blog land,

πŸŒΏπŸ’›πŸŒΏ

February has come along at last... January did seem to drag a little and all the dark, grey, wet weather was ever lasting... I am one to be positive, but even I felt the weather was getting me down... So, to have a bit of what felt like Spring sunshine was an uplifting joy to see. But they have said much colder temps next week and wintery showers!... I've been filling the home with bright Spring flowers... Tulips, daffodils, snowdrops ect... To cheer me up!.

So, things to be thankful for... πŸ’›

πŸ’› Beautiful blue sky over my Market town
πŸ’› Making a carrot cake
πŸ’› Bright, cheery Dresser... Full of daffodils
πŸ’› Spring flower pots... Keeping indoors so the Mr jack Frost doesn't get them
πŸ’› Enjoying getting creative... Illustrations with Spring flowers, patchwork and slow stitch in mind...
πŸ’›.... And a bit of watercolour doodling too.
πŸ’› On a walk in the mizzle (misty drizzle rain) finding a beautiful patch of snowdrops...
πŸ’› My partner stevie making delicious Cornish pasties...
πŸ’› Bright and cheerful posy's in pretty kitchen wares...
πŸ’› Finding pretty purple crocuses in the park
πŸ’›I'm still working in my journal...

... My dad had his covid jabs today and got back just before it started snowing on the East coast of the U. K... Thankfully.

Brighter things to come,

  1. The sight of your illustrations;that gorgeous detailed spring hare and the pretty flower fairies made my heart smile! Love those images of daffodils, crocuses and snow drops. Spring is just letting us know it is on its way. One of my most favourite seasons of the year. Glad to hear your father has had his vaccination and is protected. It is a very slow procedure here in Spain we don't think we'll get out jabs until June . Have a wonderful week and keep well Amanda x PS: Cornish pastie looks as if it could melt in your mouth :-)
