Birthday's have been celebrated this December & all the magic of Christmas...its been quite a quiet Christmas... My daughter celebrates two Christmases one at ours & one at her father's home... This year we had her just after boxing day so that's when we opened presents together. I went to see my mother in Cornwall on Christmas afternoon & stevie went to see his mum and dad in Devon... All just glad of good health at the moment with our parents. Covid still looms and leaves us all anxious. But we put our party hats on and made the best of it.
A Winter wassail for the Winter solstice (photo source cotehele national trust) my mother Morris dances there & dress up, sing & dance.
Feeling the festive atmosphere in Totnes Town.

ReplyDeleteIncredible photos. I love how you decorated and how pretty the town and countryside look. Most of all, I love the photo with the shadow-play on the curtains from your lovely paper cutwork! Happy New Year to you and yours, across the Pond.
